Office Administration role
Permit Point Building Consultants is a private building surveying & consultancy firm established in 2012, offering professional services in building permits & regulatory advice on both residential and commercial projects. A great opportunity exist within our firm for a person with relevant industry experience for a building surveyor/assistant building surveyor. The right applicant is to have a minimum two years’ experience in the building surveying industry who has completed his studies and working towards gaining his/her registration.
Duties
- Answering phones- Admin are the first point of a phone call.
- Taking messages and emailing through to the relevant person
- Receiving mail and Posting mail out.
- Registering new jobs-Section 80 lodgement (As per criteria)
- Creating files
- Entering data into permit pro, for building permit issue & Occupancy permit issue.
- File noting into permit pro.
- Section 30 & OP lodgement (As per criteria)
- Saving back documents into C drive folder and keeping folders in order.
- Fee proposal preparation
- Photo copying & scanning
- Preparing required documents for OP Issue.
- Issue OP’s & CFI’s when requested.
- Booking inspections & issuing inspection reports to clients
- Apply for Property information and LPOD and any other required authority consents and application
- Obtain Certificate of title & POSD when required.
- Prepare payments for authorities (councils, BAB, etc) when required.
- 16) Other related duties as requested.
- Reporting back to the director.
Hours & days of work
Monday- Friday 8:30am – 5pm.
Morning Break
10 minute break at 10:30am or 10:45am
Lunch Break
60 Minute lunch break between.
12-1pm or 12:30-1:30 or 1-2pm
Afternoon Break
10 minute break at 3:30 or 3:45
Please note, ensure when taking lunch breaks, there is a minimum of 2 staff members in the office to answer phones.
